Poll: The case for N-Gage [Update]

Poll: The case for N-GageThe iPhone’s not the only talk tool to tout some of the biggest names in gamedom. Nokia’s N-Gage has proven itself just as able to attract gaming royalty. But does it compare?

[Update: Nokia has revealed that it's N-Gage website will cease selling games from September 2010 in favour of dunking all of its games on the Ovi Store.  See here.]

With the soppy iPhone love-in it’s easy to forget that there are other phones just as capable of keeping us entertained.

The folk at FoneHome have been making a case for Nokia’s own portable gaming platform. N-Gage.

As FoneHome note there’s plenty of top quality titles available for Nokia’s somewhat forgotten platform such as Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile and Star Wars The Force Unleashed.

And with other big names such as Tiger Woods PGA Tour, Tomb Raider: Underworld, The Sims 3, Spore, Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid it’s clear that the App Store isn’t the only DS/PSP alternative for gaming on the go.

LostWinds developer David Braben recently said that most iPhone games are “rubbish.” Has he got a point?

Is the N-Gage platform just as good as the iPhone/iPod touch platform? Nokia maintained back in March that it’s as popular as it’s ever been. Hit up the poll below and let us know what you think?
