Xbox 360 Sky Player getting gradual rollout
Last week saw Sky Player launch on Xbox 360 before buckling under the weight of its own popularity. Fear not. It’s coming back. Microsoft has announced that it’ll be getting a gradual rollout.
A post on the Xbox.com forums revealed that rather than the service getting another full launch it’ll be zapped through to Xbox owners in “tens of thousands” before it’s available to all.
“Right now we are implementing a revised rollout which will see Sky Player become available to all Xbox 360 customers gradually. While unfortunately some customers do not have access to the service, tens of thousands more will be added each day, until the service is available to all”, a statement said.

I managed to test the service and after all the hype was left disapointed by what you actually get for your money, its definatlly not worth paying £50 to get a whole 21 channels. What made it worse is i downloaded the update for skyplayer on the morning of the release and was able to log on, however now everytime i put my user name and password in all i get is invalid username/password. i am now paying for a service that i can not get. xbox seem to be having alot of problems and its getting beyond a joke. there seems to be networkproblems all the time and connection problems too. the failed addition of sky player has just annoyed us even more and what do we get in return for all the problems nothing. oh and when are xbox adding internet access to the xbox dashboard so we can look at websites on the xbox????????
