Alan Wake to get May 2010 release?

Submitted by Stephen Ebert on November 13, 2009 – 11:32 pmNo Comment

Alan Wake to get May 2010 release? Psychological thriller Alan Wake will release globally on Xbox 360 in May 2010. That is, according to secretive sources “close to the game”.

The tidbit was revealed by MCV who say they’ve been told Alan Wake will finally arrive following a drawn out development that previously saw the PC version thrown into doubt.

Just like Heavy Rain it’s going to be promoted ““in the style of a Hollywood movie”, says MCV. Microsoft earlier promised that it’ll raise the bar for video game storytelling, as Heavy Rain promises to on the PS3.

Treat it as a rumour for now. Microsoft has branded it “rumour and speculation.”
