Gran Turismo 5: Motorbikes? Race against The Stig!

Gran Turismo 5: Motorbikes? Race against The Stig!Gran Turismo 5 could be the first in the franchise to give gamers the choice to switch to two wheels with the inclusion of motorbikes. But only if fans want them.

Questioned about the two-wheeled petrol guzzlers Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi said there is a chance it could happen.

“If that’s what users really want in the game, I think that’s a possibility. Or we could consider making a Tourist Trophy 2″, he told IGN.

What about the much-fabled track editor? Yamauchi was asked if it would make his job easier. Hinting in his answer that players just might be able to construct their own circuits.

“A lot of the courses we set up, we take a long time fine-tuning the details and building the track, so it would probably be a bit different than the types of tracks the users will set up in the game.”

On the inclusion of the Top Gear test track Yamauchi confirmed that players will be able to race against The Stig’s best times. “We’re trying to plan that now,” he revealed.

Watch out for Gambon’s corner.
