Nintendo DSi tops Japan sales chartThe Nintendo DSi continues to do a roaring trade in Japan, more than doubling sales of the Sony PSP to keep it top of the Japanese console chart.

Despite seeing a rise in console sales across the board each one stayed put in its chart position from the previous week. The DSi alone saw it sales increase by 30,000.

The PSP (32,251 units) came in second place ahead of the Nintendo Wii (17,810 units), with the PS3 (12,427 units) in fourth place.

The DS Lite stayed put with (7519 units) ahead of the resilient PS2 (4,857), which remarkably continues to outsell the Xbox 360 (4,120 units.
