PS3 Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 to have less blood than 360 version
Blood lusting Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 fans will be wondering where all the claret is after it was revealed that the blood level has been toned down a limb.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will be the first title under Tecmo and Koei since they merged and from what we’ve seen of it Ninja Gaiden is looking better than ever, but those anticipating a blood-fest will be in for a shock.
Sony’s community manager Jeff Rubenstein confirmed via the US PS Blog that the game will have less blood than the Xbox 360 verison.
“There’s plenty of blood, just not, say ‘blood geysers,” he said.
There’s a video interview on the same page where Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi explains the decision saying it stemmed from wanting to make the game “cooler”, “sleeker” and “sexier.”
Check out the game’s trailer here.
