Wii Sports Resort tops UK games chart

Wii Sports Resort tops UK games chartTo nobody’s surprise Wii Sports Resort has raced to the top of the UK charts following its release having previously snatched top spot in Japan.

Its number one debut means last weeks top title, Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince drops to second place ahead of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 which is a non-moverĀ  at third.

Wii Fit continues to stay put too, in fourth place ahead of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Fight Night Round 4 and Call of Juarez: bound in Blood in seventh.

Former number one PC title, The Sims 3 also drops a place to eighth position ahead of the resilient but brilliant Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in ninth and EA Sports Active propping up the top ten.

Here’s the weeks UK top ten all-format games chart in full:
