High Voltage wants to make Conduit sequel

Submitted by Joe Lee on August 5, 2009 – 4:49 pmNo Comment

High Voltage wants to make Conduit sequelDespite a lukewarm response from gamers and critics The Conduit developer High Voltage has expressed its desire to make a sequel to the Wii shooter.

Back when it was announced at E3 The Conduit was hailed as one of a group of “hardcore” games that would prove to Wii owners that the console was more than capable of housing such games.

It didn’t quite live up to expectations. But that hasn’t put of High Voltage from wanting to make a sequel.

Speaking on a Radio-Blodec podcast about how many sales were needed for a sequel, High Voltage producer Joshua Olsen said “I have no idea, it all depends on the fans and sales but it’s a little early for now to assume anything.

“Anyway, we are very interested to make a sequel to The Conduit, it’s quite a robust world and there are more stories we want to tell.”

Upon being asked directly if there are plans for a sequel: “Sure there are, The Conduit is the first part for our hero and we want to make more parts to tell more things about him.”

Despite the revelation of sorts Olsen went on to say that work has not yet begun on a sequel.
