Modern Warfare 2 has most pre-orders in Activision historyModern Warfare 2 could be on course to eclipse the stunning sales of Call of Duty 4 after Activision revealed it’s got more pre-orders than any in its history.

The news was proudly revealed during Activision’s recent earnings call but shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given that its predecessor Call of Duty 4 was a best-selling title picking up tonnes of awards and accolades in the process.

The critical success of the original has led to its sequel becoming one of the most anticipated games of all time, and one of best-selling on Activision’s books.

Those who pre-order the game can choose to grab two limited editions, including the Prestige Edition complete with night vision goggles.
