After the introduction of the New Xbox Experience the latest dashboard update is the most comprehensive yet.
It brings with it a lorry-load of updates and features. Chief among them is the Games On Demand service letting gamers purchase full games straight from the console via credit/debit card.
The list of games might be small but it’s set to increase. You can check out the list of games here.
Also included is the Avatar Marketplace letting users purchase MTV Crib-sized wardrobes full of virtual video game related garb. Fancy dressing up as a pirate from The Secret of Monkey Island? You can do just that.
U.S owners will also find lots of updates to the Netflix movie service like being able to engage in Movie Parties with up to seven friends avatars in a mini movie theater and pull up more friend info about what your mates are watching.
There’s also user ratings, with players now being able to rate every game on the Xbox Live Marketplace using a 5-star system and being able to locate games quicker by searching the ‘Top Rated’ games section.
