Submitted by Stephen Ebert on August 13, 2009 – 4:46 pmNo Comment

Tony Hawk to demonstrate Ride at GamescomActivision has announced that legendary skater Tony Hawk will be demoing Tony Hawk: Ride for the first time showing off his “jaw-dropping skating skills” at Gamescom.

The skateboarding don will meet and and greet attendees at Activision’s showfloor before trying to prove that he’s just as godly on a skateboard with no wheels.

According to a statement from Activision “Tony Hawk will also be tackling an imposing vert ramp with his jaw-dropping skating skills” on August 21st.

During E3 the man himself said “the whole thing works just like a real skateboard.” We’ll soon find out, though Tony Hawk could probably skate using a fish if he wanted to.

Tony Hawk: Ride
Out: November 20th (UK, Germany, U.S), 2010 for other regions
Cost: £100
