Banish your World of Warcraft addiction for $14,000

World of Warcraft addicts hoping to kick their life-consuming habit into touch will soon have an effective way to do so for the princely sum of $14,000.
The ReSTART clinic, which opened in July offers a 45-day program to relieve patients from excessive computer use, including video games, texting, social networks and other tech-related addictions.
“We’ve been doing this for years on an outpatient basis,” said Hilarie Cash, a director of the center told Statesman.com. “Up until now, we had no place to send them.”
As expensive as it is it appears to work a treat.
World of Warcraft player, Ben Alexander used to play the game for up to 17 hours a day but since undergoing an extensive program involving counseling, therapy and exercise he’s going WoW-free.
“I don’t think I’ll go back to ‘World of Warcraft’ anytime soon,” he said. For $14,000 (£8,453) we’d like to think so.

I’d have to agree that video games can be very addicting. And many people struggle with it each day. They tend to grab you and before you know it the time is gone.
But, I don’t think you need to have a 45-day program to eliminate your video game addiction. Now, I’m not saying that this program is useless, because it probably works wonderfully and really helps.
But, what I think is that it comes down to determination and self-control if you have a problem and want to break your addiction to video games.

Oh my! That’s huge amount for just the therapy and how can we all be sure that it’s worth it? I think playing MMOs like WoW should be done with discipline to enjoy it to the fullest. Those who really got out of control, they can give this treatment a shot but it does come with a price. While for those responsible gamers, here’s an article about the WoW expansion, check this out: http://www.linkgeneral.com/articles.asp?articleid=56209
