Guitar Hero 5 beats off The Beatles to UK top spot
The Beatles have seen something of a mini revival in recent weeks but the fab four’s game was beaten to the UK number one by Guitar Hero 5.
In fact The Beatles: Rock Band had to make do with a fourth placing in the UK all-formats chart after another new entry, Colin McRae: Dirt 5 nipped in ahead of it and Batman: Arkham Asylum for second place.
Wii games Wii Fit and Wii Sports Resort make up the fifth and sixth spots ahead of World War II plane shooter IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey ahead of the resurgent Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The ever-strong Mario Kart Wii and Ashes Cricket 2009 prop up the table. The latter having dropped five places to tenth amid recent releases.
