Being able to walk alongside the two friends and other protagonists of Arcadia Bay in virtual reality is now possible.

After the VR mods intended for Resident Evil but also GTA V, Read Dead Redemption 2, Mafia, Cyberpunk 2077, or even Horizon Zero Dawn, it is the turn of Life is Strange: Before the Storm to benefit from such a conversion.

This unofficial mod, signed TrevTV, from the Square Enix title developed by Deck Nine Games (Life is Strange: True Colors), prequel to the original Life is Strange game by Dontnod, is available for free on GitHub. The fact of having chosen a software centered around storytelling and player choices, may seem strange (Life is Strange, humor, all that, sorry…), but it may be interesting to see how it can get more involved in history by rubbing shoulders more closely and in a more immersive way with Chloé and Rachel.

The fact remains that, even if little interaction are on point with the environment and it’s all about the button mapping, the different PCVR controllers (Valve Knuckles, Oculus Touch, Vive and WMR controllers) are supported by the mod.
