Rumor has it that the Japanese designer has teamed up with a renowned director in the world of VR to design a game on the virtual reality headset of the PS5.
Since the end of 2021, the designer Hideo Kojima tease two new projects in not very concrete terms for now. All we know, is that there is a “radical project”, and another AAA with a greater scope. According to the sources of a twitter account of leaks that we will therefore take with backhoe buckets in the absence of tweezers, Kojima-san will be at work on a PSVR 2 game.
Kojima Productions got PSVR2 prototypes back in November 2021. According to unconfirmed information that I’ve got, studio’s upcoming smaller project could be a VR game/experience in collaboration with award-winning Virtual Reality expert and storyteller Céline Tricart. pic.twitter.com/fAyF3OyCxk

Kojima Productions would have contacted Celine Tricart, award-winning French VR expert director at the Sundance, Mostra, or Tribeca festivals. This project would be the famous title with the “radical” ambition of “small scale” teased for a few months. According to this account, the info is corroborated by the fact that Hideo Kojima received prototypes of the PS5 headset last November.
As a reminder, the studio could also take care of a sequel to Death Stranding, Norman Reedus being in negotiation with the studio to return to a project. From there to consider a simulation of a Fedex delivery man in VR, there is only one step that we will surely not take.
(Even if it’s tempting).
(Yes, I play German tunnel-building simulation games, so I’m liking everything, shhh).
