Two digital independent video game fairs will take place during the summer, taking part of the vacant place of E3, canceled this year.

A third edition of the indie festival Guerilla Collective is now dated. The fair will take place on June 11 at 5 p.m. with many exclusive revelations, promise the organizers. If the summer period will not have its traditional E3 this year, several events will take the place left vacant, starting with the Summer Game Fest.

Less bling bling, the Guerrilla Collective made an impression in 2021 with two “volumes”, two announcement shows just before and during E3 2021. For this third edition, Media Indie Exchange and Kinda Funny Games don’t seem to be heading towards a split event like in 2021.

Instead, a Wholesome Direct will be streamed right after the show, another event dedicated to indies, rather oriented towards a “chill” or “feel good” program. Last year, this digital fair unveiled more than 70 games including the fun SkateBIRD or the Dordogne narrative experience.
