Previously announced for June, with no date to argue, the event dedicated to Final Fantasy VII now sets an appointment, so expect some revelations.

Nomura has more or less announced the forthcoming holding of an event dedicated to Final Fantasy VII. The date was long overdue, but now that the Summer Game Fest 2022 has started, the appointment is becoming clearer.

An appointment set for June 17, 2022

More generally, the Final Fantasy series is celebrating its 35th birthday this year. And, if the last opus awaited for summer 2023 was entitled to a small outing at the last State of Play, the seventh episode of the saga will not be outdone.

He who is currently going through his 25 years of existence, will indeed be entitled to a small dedicated show on June 17, at a fairly late hour with us, since it is expected for midnight. However, the broadcast should only be short-lived. 10 minutes are indeed scheduled, during which we are however promised “a lot of information”.

Here is what said Tetsuya Nomura:

We will be streaming the 25th anniversary celebration of Final Fantasy VII. The broadcast will only last about ten minutes, but we have planned a lot of information. So I hope everyone will look forward to this unveiling.

The show – to follow on Youtube or Twitch – should also be an opportunity to learn more about the arrival of FF7 Remake on Xbox and, above all, to finally see Final Fantasy reveal itself. Remake Part 2 who, we recall, promised information for this year.
