According to new rumors, The Coalition is planning a Gears of War collection to keep fans waiting for its next main game.
If a Gears 6 could be in the pipes of The Coalition which is currently recruiting for the future of the franchise, other rumors have been launched on the form that the next return on PC and consoles of this IP. Several insiders have noted in recent days what has already been running for some time, and in particular in this period when all publishers love to relaunch collections: a “Gears Collection” is in the works.
While waiting for this famous Gears 6 which could take time to form, the Microsoft studio would therefore have found the ideal way to bring its license to life without worrying too much, like the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Crysis Remastered Trilogy or Halo: The Master Chief Collection. One might expect a remaster for the oldest installments in the series in this collection which will also arrive on PC, As a reminder, the first had already been released in version Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on PC and Xbox in 2015 and 2016.
