The Game Director of Avalanche Studios, to whom we owe several racing licenses at Codemasters and Sony, is “eager to show” his new creation and gives some details.
The director of Driveclub, ONRUSH or Project Cars 3 racing games, Paul Rustchynsky, announced that he will soon unveil his new creation. An “unannounced” game, as we are used to saying lately, which is assigned to the new development team in Liverpool from the Avalanche studio.
In 2021 we (the Avalanche Studios group) opened a new studio in Liverpool, an exciting time for me, having achieved one of my career goals. In 2022 we will have the opportunity to announce the game we have been working on since last year.

On his twitter profile, the creator immediately tempered expectations players since he added that this project was unrelated to the PlayStation DriveClub game:
To meet some expectations, I am not working on a racing game. So sorry, no Driveclub sequel, MotorStorm successor or ONRUSH derivative. It’s something very different from anything I’ve worked on before
The new game will be based on a brand new IP. Previously, the creator had already indicated that the DriveClub license was not of much interest to Sony, which prefers to concentrate its efforts in sim-racing with its franchise. Gran Turismo. Good thing, the new GT7 will arrive in March next.
