Postponed to January a few weeks ago, the game of the former bosses of Arkane Studios must shift by a few more months.

While it was announced in January 2022 during the studio’s previous communication, a new postponement was made official by WolfEye Studios on Wednesday. Weird West must now wait for the March 31, 2022 for its release.

This western A-RPG with a particular aesthetic and edited by Devolver Digital is the work alumni of Arkane, through a small independent studio. Like many of them this year, the task seems to have been too difficult in a complicated sanitary period.

Thus, for all the usual reasons cited during each postponement, the studio prefers to postpone the official date. What’s more, there seem to have been too many concerns raised by players during the beta, which forces WolfEye Studios to reconsider its plans.

As we played our game, on the one hand we realized it was awesome, on the other we realized he wasn’t quite ready yet. The game is tested in a private beta, and the testers are having a blast. However, there are a few things that we want to improve, because we are committed to delivering the best possible experience.

As a reminder, the game will be released in day one on Xbox Game Pass. It is also planned on PC and PS4.
