The long-awaited sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence took to the Tribeca Games Showcase to reveal more gameplay.
A Plague Tale: Rquiem takes place some time after Innocence while Amicia and Hugo are on the loose. While they thought they had finally found serenity, the two young people find themselves once again forced to fight for their survival.
A Plague Tale: Ratquiem
After the deserved success of the first opus, the French studio Asobo is back with this second opus eagerly awaited by fans. If Innocence already offered particularly harsh sequences, Requiem intends to raise the bar a notch and will offer an even more adult story, always against a backdrop of politico-religious war, chaos, plague and the invasion of rats more and more numerous and aggressive.
Thanks to a few sequences mixing gameplay and behind the scenes, Asobo tells us a bit about what prompted them to create the A Plague Tale license and how it evolved. We also learn how the music could have directly impacted the development or the investments that the studio made in motion capture to significantly improve the cinematics of Requiem.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is expected for this year 2022 on PS5, Xbox Series, PC and Switch (via the Cloud).
