A little over a week after its launch, the latest installment of the agricultural simulation license is a big hit for the franchise. Several reasons can explain it.
the ultimate farming simulator (and yet there are quite a few in this area), Farming Simulator, has returned this season with a beautifully crafted 2022 edition, packed with new things.
Usually a niche license, but which has been able to please a large number of fans, of agriculture but also of hard-sim games, FS has found a new audience thanks to a esport scene (yes, yes) carried by streamers and influencers who have talked about it extensively.
Suddenly, unsurprisingly, Farming Simulator 22 is a big success. The series has just reached the 25 million units in total, and the last edition passes the bar of “miyon and dmi” copies, all in a first week. The introduction of crossplatform multiplayer is undoubtedly also a reason for this success, as the wait a little longer than usual, three years after the last opus.
