After working on several games but also Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Davison Carvalho has joined the artistic direction of Insomniac’s next PS5 game.
A guarantee of quality for the next Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac? The title labeled Marvel will get closer to the MCU, the cinematographic universe developed by the Maison des Idées for 15 years on the big screen: Davison Carvalho has been recruited for the future video game.
Spider-Man’s Former DAs Switch to Wolverine
This concept artist has notably worked with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, on the films Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok or even Captain Marvel, as a freelance concept artist. Good news too: the man has worked with many studios to design the concepts for games like Mortal Kombat X, Halo Infinite or Lone Echo.
Since February, it is now art director of the new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, due exclusively on PS5 in 2023, with the introduction of the Venom symbiote. Why this change? Simply because the art directors of the first two games in the series are currently on Marvel’s Wolverine!
