Six months after its release, Back 4 Blood dates its first major expansion, Tunnels of Terror, and announces its content.
Turtle Rock’s Left 4 Dead-like has already received several free updates, but hadn’t hit the big time yet: its paid DLCs.
Back 4 Blood’s roadmap was very clear from the start, but no specific date had been given until now. And it was only today, through a tweet, that Tencent’s new studio disclosed that Tunnels of Terror, the first paid DLC, will arrive on all platforms on April 12.
Tunnels, terror and lots of other stuff
On the menu of this DLC we will find in particular a new PvE game mode “Ridden Hives”, which will offer cleaners to clean up in 7 new levels to get their hands on unique loot. What’s more, 3 new special infected are coming: the Shredder, the Urchin and the Ripper. although we do not yet know their specificities, we do know thatthey will also be playable in the title’s Horde PvPvE mode.
At last, two new cleaners will arrive in stride, Sharice and Heng. The first will be equipped with a large fireman’s ax and promises to be ready for hand-to-hand combat, while the second, a professional restorer, will be more survival-oriented.
To complete the formula, several new cards will be there to boost your decks and a multitude of cosmetics for your weapons and your agents will join your chests.
Also note that a new difficulty “Without Hope” will arrive, free of charge and for all, at the same time as the Tunnel of Terror Pack on April 12 on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
