DICE continues to work hard on Battlefield 2042 and will soon roll out a visual overhaul of all its specialists.
For a while now, Battlefield 2042 has been looking to redeem itself and is slowly getting a makeover. While the redesign is underway and Season 1 is in full swing, DICE will be making a major change to its specialists in the next patch.
A facelift for everyone!
While players are waiting for a major overhaul of the specialist system, DICE sees things differently and is already going to offer a big artistic touch-up, as the studio had previously announced. From patch 1.2we will have the right to new animations and a new visual and audio design for all specialists. The aim here is to make the fighters more credible, especially by giving the feeling that they have been marked by the war, where they seem to enjoy it. A first step towards a complete overhaul that will take time, especially since the game has come a long way.
The developers also take the opportunity to point out that the Kaleidoscope map will get its REAL makeover by Augustalong with the change of specialists.
