Announced some time ago, Beyond Good & Evil 2 has since left doubts to settle. But, obviously, there is nothing to fear: the development continues.
It’s been a long time since Ubisoft announced the sequel to Beyond Good & Evil. It was in 2008.
Since then, players may have even let doubt settle in, no longer being really certain of seeing the game appear one day. Must say that the rumors of a cancellation have greatly helped to think so, as well as the silence that exists around the software. A silence that is (very) slightly silent today.
Ubisoft is looking for a Senior Game Animator
Apparently, according to a very recent broadcast, the development is still relevant. Moreover, a job offer was issued on this subject by Ubisoft Barcelona. Indeed, the latter is currently looking for a senior game animator for this Beyond Good & Evil 2 described on the page Twitter of the studio like the project “the most ambitious of the company”.
Take charge of the animation quality and game system functionality of one of Ubisoft’s most ambitious projects to date.
Reassuring words which however do not really advance the situation and which can even be a source of more concern for the players, thus wondering how far, which year, could lead “these ambitions”.
One thing is certain, we will have to wait. And, maybe by then, the movie promised by Netflix will have already had the opportunity to be approached.
