While Blizzard fans are still waiting for the release of Diablo Immortal, the group announces a new mobile project on a flagship license of the company in 2022, Warcraft.
As the Activision-Blizzard company unveiled its financial results last night, a date first appeared: that of a mobile Warcraft game on iOS and Android for 2022.
In the results for the 4th quarter of 2021, Blizzard does not say more, and it is not known for the moment if it will be a full release or just a beta opening.
Blizzard is planning substantial new content for the Warcraft franchise in 2022, including new experiences in World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, and the availability of all new mobile Warcraft content in the hands of gamers for the first time.
The idea of a game under the famous Blizzard license in a mobile version is not recent and has already been teased several times by the studio, but nothing concrete has been shown so far. The game should therefore be associated with the release of Diablo Immortal, another highly anticipated mobile title since 2018 and which should arrive at the end of the year.
