Already working on a new RPG, a survival game and projects in its cult licenses, Blizzard would work on a visibly multiplayer FPS.
Blizzard, already behind Overwatch and its Overwatch 2 sequel, which is launching its closed beta today, would be on a new PvP game project, a multiplayer FPS which has not yet been announced. The info was flushed out on the LinkedIn account of Kristopher Howl, the studio’s former lead game designer, who left the company in 2020.

Lead Game Designer on an unannounced FPS PVP project. For three years, the work involved managing level, UI, combat and systems design, guiding new level building technology, aligning teams to the project vision, hiring and to design game systems.
As a reminder, Blizzard is also working on a new game in a new world and genre for the company.a survival game in development for five years, but also an RPG project based on one of its franchises.
