A few days ago, we learned that Bright Memory: Infinite was coming to next gen consoles and Nintendo Switch, without more information. Now we have a release date.
If the name rings a bell, that’s okay. Bright Memory is originally a FPS released in 2019 on PC and then Xbox Series in 2020. It served, among other things, as a technological showcase for the latter. Unfortunately, the game barely exceeded an hour of content. That’s why an “Infinite” version was released on November 11, 2021, but only on PC. It should be seen as a kind of reboot of the basic material developed by FYQD-Studio.
Longer, denser, this new reading of Bright Memory has finally been scheduled for release on PS5 and Xbox Series as well as…Nintendo Switch. Here are the technical details:
For the PS5 and Xbox Series:
DXR (Raytracing Reflection) mode at 60FPS
120FPS mode
Includes all cosmetic DLC released on PC
Support for DualSense adaptive triggersFor the Switch:
Works natively on Nintendo Switch
Supports multi-sampling TAA (“Temporal anti-aliasing”)
Support for gyroscope while aiming
Includes all cosmetic DLC released on PC
What about the date?
Rejoice then, because from July 21st, you will be able to get your hands on Bright Memory Infinite. If you haven’t done so yet, now is the perfect time to dive into the year 2036 and discover this nerve-wracking experience.
