Very few surprises for SELL’s physical sales rankings in H2 2022. The previous week’s oddball, Ratchet & Clank, disappears in favor of a returning PS4 game.
As we anticipated, Ratchet & Clank’s surprise return to the bottom of the leaderboard last week was just a jumpstart probably due to end-of-year purchases (or the decline in other games). The former custodian of the honorary title of “sole representative of Sony in a ranking completely acquired at the Switch” is therefore back for the 2nd week of 2022: FIFA 22 on PS4.
The rest of the ranking of physical sales in France is similar to the previous week, still unsurprising. Four Switch games, four Nintendo games, the usual 4 for the past few weeks, with just one change in mind. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe takes over the throne. As a reminder, he will celebrate his 5th birthday.
