Disney+ announced on Tuesday the return of Gaspard Ulliel to the small screen next March with the new series Moon Knight. But the 37-year-old Frenchman left us on Wednesday after a terrible accident.
While Marvel and Disney+ have just announced the release date of the new Moon Knight series (a historical character from the Maison des Idées, largely inspired by DC Comics’ Batman), as well as a first trailer, the first season just lost one of the main heroes. Gaspard ulliel (who will be on screen as Midnight Man), died at Grenoble University Hospital on Wednesday at the age of 37.
The day before, he had hit a skier while descending a blue run in Savoie. Found by the emergency services in serious condition after a head trauma, he was airlifted to hospital overnight before succumbing to his injuries.
Moon Knight, the new Disney+ series, should also see the return of another actor close to Marvel, Oscar Isaac. The Guatemalan had already embodied Apocalypse, the big villain of X-Men Days of Future Past for Fox. The French Gaspard Ulliel, holder of two Césars for five nominations, was to play the antagonist of the first season, a burglar who acts at midnight. This will be his last screen appearance, the next March 30.
