So it’s done. The last event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the cult game unsurprisingly allowed the Crisis Core remaster to become official.
It’s not a real surprise, our little good fairy, the leaker The Snitch, had already told us about her arrival on June 15th. Nevertheless, the return of CrisisCore has now been able to make it official during the livestream dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII.
Crisis Core while waiting for the big piece
Square Enix actually had two surprises in store for players and fans of the saga. If the small moment granted was finally able to broadcast a few seconds on the next FF 7 Rebirth, it was also the case for the other title already unveiled unofficially through a leak.
And so, as expected, we will be dealing with the remaster of the PSP episode released in 2008. Named Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunionthis new optimized version will land on the platforms already mentioned above, i.e. the PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC consoles. Its publication is scheduled for this winter. The game will then appear with improved graphics or with full dubbing.
