After a teaser released this morning, Crytek has formalized the creation of a new sequel to the Crysis franchise, with a first CGI video.
A few hours after the disclosure of a picture on social networksCrytek has formalized Crysis 4. The developer of the license released a short cinematic trailer with the number 4 and a slogan: “Join the Journey. Become the hero” (Join the adventure, become a hero).
A few days ago, the studio launched a new recruitment campaign for a whole bunch of positions in development and artistic. A first image was released this morning by Crytek’s Chinese account on the blogging platform, Bilibili, before being deleted.
The artwork was accompanied by a text stating that on occasion New Year and the beginning of the year of the Tiger“a title as powerful as the animal made its comeback, opening a new nano-war”.
The latest episode, Crysis 3, was released in 2013. Since then, between 2020 and 2021, Crytek has relaunched the first opus in a remastered version on PC and consoles, then the trilogy.
