CD Projekt’s VP highlighted sales figures for The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. For the latter, he also had word for the upcoming DLC.
It was long awaited. A huge expectation that resulted in a no less great disappointment. When he came, the game was then pinned for the significant number of defects it presented. But it’s mostly the console versions (PS4 and Xbox One) which posed a real problem: to say that they were unplayable is certainly not an exaggeration. It’s only recently that things have improved with the arrival of versions intended for new gen consoles, although there are still quite a few bugs.
New scripted content coming soon for Cyberpunk 2077
However, even if the critics rocketed here and there, they did not prevent CD Projekt’s game from becoming a real success, with its 18 million copies sold worldwide.
A success that should not be called into question, according to the vice-president of CDPR (Nielubowicz)given the potential of Cyberpunk 2077 on “the long term”.
Moreover, with regard to its future, the game immediately revealed the studio’s intention to provide new content soon, including a major new scripted expansion. The development team is already at work there.
