The prolific modder Luke Ross will soon make available the VR adaptation of the famous yellow title from CD Projekt RED.

While Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.5 has just been deployed and finally allows NPCs to have umbrellas, the project of conversion to virtual reality from CD Projekt RED track led by modder Luke Ross – to whom we already owe the VR mods of GTA V or RDR2 – shows that he has made good progress in a new gameplay video.

We see pedestrian or vehicle exploration within Night City, but also gun fights as well as an overview of the menus and the map, or the different options available.

As with his other mods, the one for Cyberpunk 2077, which Ross announced last year, is set to resume. joystick control with head tracking in VRand should not be long since originally planned for January 2022.

To obtain this mod, only available on PC of course, not on Playstation, as usual you will have to go through its Patreon page where you can also find full details on performance and options of mod.

For information, the video above was captured with a Core i9-9900K and an RTX 3090 at a resolution of 2700×2700, for a result oscillating between 60 and 65 fps. Without recording, however, Ross pretends to go up to 80-90fps steady.

Note also that he advises play in low graphics options without DLSS for greater clarity and detail. According to him, in Ultra mode with RTXthis gives nicer screenshots but a blurry view in VR.
