It’s been almost 9 years since Dead Island 2 was announced before disappearing. But the game is alive and well, as evidenced by its presence on Amazon.
Dead Island 2 is one of those games that can’t wait. The almost non-existent communication on DeepSilver’s title led us to believe that we would never see it released. However, at the beginning of August, rumors carried by Tom Henderson showed that an announcement was coming in the last quarter of 2022.
But we won’t have to wait much longer to find out more, as the software has been spotted on Amazon. The good surprise is that it was accompanied by of unpublished images and especially (drum roll) of a potential release date.
It’s alive!
Indeed, even if it is no longer visible now, the site offered Dead Island 2 for pre-order at a price of $69.99. In addition, we could see the game’s cover that you can find below with the other images unmasked. These reveal various places in Los Angeles invaded by zombies.
However, the most crunchy information remains on the side of the release date that was on the page of the game. This one indicated February 3, 2023. Obviously, this is to be taken with a pinch of salt, but the wait for fans seems to be coming to an end soon.
In any case, if all this is true, we can hope thata new trailer will be revealed in the coming months. Maybe at Gamescom or the Game Awards? The answer should not be long in coming. As a reminder, Dead Island 2 will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series.
