Dead Space Remake distinguished itself during a broadcast in which it mainly addressed, as expected, the artistic aspect. But that’s not all, he finally has a real date.
At the beginning of the week, the title of Motivates made an appointment for a livestream. The latter has now taken place and we know more about it, the most important of which is undoubtedly: the release date.
Better immersion
Over a period of just over an hour, Motivates illustrated a few gameplay elements, but above all discussed the game, lingering as planned on the artistic aspect of this Dead Space Remake, unlike the penultimate event which was dedicated to the musical ambiance.
Thus, the next iteration of the title originally released in 2008 will allow, thanks to the new technologies requested, a much higher level of immersion. Something that will be accomplished in particular by an atmosphere, which is intended to be darker than in the original, and new visual effects among others.
Developing this remake has been a lot of fun for us at Motive, as we are true fans of the franchise and want to treat it with the respect it deserves. It has been equally exciting to see player reactions as we take them with us on this development journey. We are making great strides on our way to Alpha and are happy to announce that the game will launch in January next year. We can’t wait for players old and new to see how we’ve elevated the original experience in the remake to have the same impact on the current generation. – Phillippe Ducharme, senior producer of Dead Space
