The announcement is not very surprising. However, it formalizes the thing: Death Stranding Director’s Cut is expected on PC for this spring.
End of the suspense, even if – it must be admitted – there was very little room for doubt, and this, for a little while now (especially with the leak from Nvidia): Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be released on PC and will be available there this spring. It will be accessible through Steam and theEpic Games Store.
As announced at the start of the day, 505 Games confirms the use of the new technology just presented, which will improve the performance of the game: the Intel XeSS. The grinding in question will offer, like its counterpart Playstation, content related to Half-Life series and Cyberpunk 2077.
For the sake of it, here are the words of Neil ralley (President of 505 Games) previously communicated:
We are delighted to announce this partnership with Intel for the arrival on PC of Death Stranding Director’s Cut. Death Stranding has been very popular with the PC community, and we can’t wait to see Intel’s XeSS technology improve their DIRECTOR’S CUT experience.
