EA and Bioware have just communicated about the next Dragon Age. But that the players do not expect to have more than the official title.
The next dragon age comes back to us with new information to communicate to us: its title. Electronic Arts and bioware now confirm what had been announced in particular Tom Henderson just before the official release and also provides the official game logo.
An official title and upcoming info?
Thus the new opus of biowareannouncing itself as “something amazing” in the words previously shared, will be called Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
The Dread Wolf rises! We’re excited to reveal the official title for the next chapter in your story – Dragon Age: #Dreadwolf! https://t.co/bNLy9ALN8g pic.twitter.com/XrNhBj3Ymz—BioWare (@bioware) June 2, 2022
A title which then refers to Solas, the elven character who appeared in Inquisition, the previous episode published in 2014. A personality to say the least ambiguous of which we know absolutely nothing about his motivations and his objectives. Here is what it says, on the developer’s blog, of who will be the antagonist of this new episode:
Solas, the dread wolf. Some say he could be an ancient elven god, but others say otherwise. Others say he betrayed his people… or that he is a savior who now seeks to save them at the cost of your world. His motives are inscrutable and his methods sometimes dubious, earning him a reputation as a trickster god, a player in dark and dangerous games.
So with this revelation should we expect more elements very soon? Already, as we suspected, the game will not be released in 2022. And as for the information, they are certainly planned, but we should not expect to see them appear during this summer season which is announced. Dreadwolf will tell us more during the year.
That’s all we have for now, but we hope the official title has piqued your curiosity, as we’ll be telling you more about the game later this year!
