Third opus of the series released in 2017, Dungeons 3 is back in the news after all this time to announce its arrival on Switch.

The management and strategy game will have finally taken almost four years to decide to come to Nintendo’s console. As a reminder, this simulation of a dungeon manager puts you in the shoes of a Lord with ambitions that are, to say the least, evil:

The Dungeon Lord has successfully unified the forces of evil and established his evil empire. Now it’s time for the next step in his evil quest: expansion! After persuading Thalya, the priestess of the dark elves, to become his chief lieutenant, the Dungeon Lord has found a way to direct his campaign of conquest from the confines of his underground lair.

As you can see, you’ll need to create a multitude of deadly wards, recruiting dark forces in order to raise an army that will conquer the world for you. The single player campaign includes 20 missions and randomly generated levels that can now be played with a second player.

You are evil

Let’s move on to the content of Dungeons 3 and what the Switch version will bring to the table. So Nintendo players will have the pleasure of accessing the base game as well as the three expansions “Once Upon A Time”, “Evil of the Caribbean” and “Lord of the Kings”. And that’s not all, since a new skirmish map will be released with this port. It will be accompanied by multiple free updates.

All this is to be discovered on September 15. In the meantime, the game is playable on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A version called “Dungeons 3 The Complete Collection” is also available, including the 7 DLC released after the original game.
