FromSoftware’s game released in February 2022 receives today an update that brings some fixes and also comes with improvements.

A few hours ago, FromSoftware deployed patch 1.06 for its successful game released last February. In fact, Elden Ring sees some flaws corrected and welcomes, in the process, some new features and improvements.

Improved multiplayer

One of the additions specifically touches on the summoning functionality. The number of areas where summon signs can be placed is now expanded. And, as a result, the areas open for invasion are also expanded.

Then, the other notable point is about one of the game’s missions: Varré’s quest. It is no longer necessary to go through multiplayer and invade other players to complete it. Now it is indeed possible to confront an NPC.

For the other additions, improvements (speed of the blows, increase of the range of the projectiles…) and corrections, we leave you with the long note of patch transcribed below.

Note of the update 1.06:

Additional items

  • Added feature to send invocation signs to invocation pools in multiple areas, including remote areas.
  • When sending a cooperative sign to remote areas with this function, the “Mohgwyn Palace” invocation pools will be excluded.
