It was only a rumor, but it’s now official, Forspoken has been pushed back, but will still be released this year.
Announced with great fanfare 2 years ago, Forspoken had surprised his world and was supposed to be released by May 2022.

Except that very recently, several rumors spoke of a postponement and obviously the rumors of the hallway were telling the truth since Forspoken has officially postponed its release date to October 11, 2022.
We have made the decision to postpone the release date of Forspoken to October 11, 2022. Our vision for this new IP is to deliver a world and a hero that players everywhere will enjoy experiencing for years to come. That’s why, over the next few months, we’ll be focusing all of our efforts on perfecting the game, and we look forward to bringing Frey’s journey to you this fall.

We will therefore have to wait another seven long months before being able to get their hands on the software, while the studio refines its foal.
On the other hand, this revelation therefore reinforces the veracity of the rumors that had emerged at the same time than those who had leaked the postponement of Forspoken, we could therefore indeed see a State of Play coming in a few days and the return of Infamous and Sly Cooper could also be confirmed.
