To support children in difficulty affected by war and to convey a message of peace, CyberConnect2 announces that it will donate the profits from its RPG for a week to “Save the Children”.

It’s not direct and explicit support like other studios, but it does echo to the current geopolitics and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine: the publisher CyberConnect2 announces the transfer of profits from its Fuga: Melodies of Steel for 7 days, for “children in need”.

In view of the current global situation“, explains the studio, the money generated by the game will be used to “bring smiles back to children who suffer from the war both physically and mentally“. Until March 20, all profits will be donated to the Save the Children association.

We thought a lot about what we could do to help in this situation. Our game Fuga: Melodie sof Steel features children swept away by war seeking to reunite with their families and their daily lives, and have decided to donate the profits to child victims of war, in accordance with the message it carries. We hope this modest support can help them, and pray for a future of peace where they can laugh again.

– Hiroshi Matsuyama, President of CyberConnect2

All games are affected, both the deluxe edition and the outfit set. The RPG is out on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series and Xbox One on July 29, 2021.
