The Funcom studio (Age of Conan) took advantage of the Gamescom 2022 to unveil a new trailer for its upcoming open world survival game in the Dune universe.
If you were expecting gameplay, you’ll have to wait a little longer. Here we have a CGI trailer introducing what appears to be the protagonist of the story.
A name: Awakening
During the sequence, our man stands in front of the void, observing a creature well known from the universe of Dune who will soon emerge. While wearing a classic outfit of the work, he draws his two blades and prepares for battle.
We won’t lie to ourselves, there is not much to put under the tooth, except maybe the title. Indeed, the name of the software is finally known and it is called Dune Awakening. As a reminder, it will take the form of an open world survival game. Concept images were leaked earlier this year.
Waiting to see some gameplay, don’t forget that another Dune game is planned for 2022. This one is signed by the studio Nukklear.
