New license presented at the last Nacon Connect 2022, Gangs of Sherwood offers us a steampunk retelling of the Robin Hood story.
Developed by Appeal Studios, Gangs of Sherwood is a cooperative action game that transposes the story of Robin Hood into a dystopian future with the good smell of steampunk rust and an extra touch of heroic fantasy.

A surprising cocktail for a tale that we know on the fingertips since we were kids. Gangs of Sherwood looks rather original in its formNow it remains to be seen what it will offer in the background. As it stands, the game looks like being a cooperative action/shooter game with several characters emblematic of the Robin Hood universewho will be able to rely on special weapons and skills to face the Sheriff of Nottingham and his henchmen.
All this in environments that draw their inspiration from both heroic fantasy and steampunk, but also in the post-apocalyptic with notably many ruined cities. To be continued, but it seems curious.
Gangs of Sherwood is expected for 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series, PCbut does not yet have a specific date.
