Warner Bros Montreal’s action game is still in development and a few game mechanics may have changed along the way.

Gotham Knights was announced as being a Batman Arkham like where we can embody not one, but four heroes from the Batverse as Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl or Red Hood. And so far, the title was planned to be playable solo or up to two players in cooperation, but it seems that this is no longer relevant.

Gotham better watch out

A recent update of the game sheet has indeed just reshuffled the cards and shows a change of course for the cooperative mode of Gotham Knights. According to the update of the game’s Playstation Store page, Gotham Knights would no longer be playable by two players only, but could well offer multiplayer up to 4 simultaneously.

If that turns out to be right, so it might just be that we can finally clean up the streets of Gotham like a real team masked vigilantes. However, we will wait for confirmation from the developers since this kind of error has already happened in the past.

What is certain, however, is that Gotham Knights is expected for October 25 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. And it may well end up being on PS4 too and Xbox One.
