Gran Turismo 7 is finally getting back on its feet after taking on the ire of a large swath of players upset over patch 1.07’s reduced rewards.
New patch, and not the least, for Gran Turismo 7 which intends to win back the hearts of its fans. The software had indeed been victim of a real common charge from some of the players who had raised their shields following patch 1.07 and the ensuing server crash behind it. Nevertheless, Polyphony Digital had split froma press release to reassure everyoneand is now rolling out patch 1.11.
Available on PS5 and PS4, patch 1.11 therefore increases the gains some proofs, adds new ones and fixes a multitude of small glitches here and there. In addition, it adds a handful of options for readability and general ergonomics.

World Circuits
- The number of rewards for events in the second half of the World Circuit has been increased.
- Adjusted rewards for Arcade Races and Custom Races.
- New racing events have been added to the World Circuit. The new events are as follows:
- World Touring Car 600 Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise.
- World Touring Car 700 Circuit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
- World Touring Car 800 Sardegna Road Track A.
Circuit experience
- Rewards are now provided when you complete all tracks in Gold or Bronze results. If you have already obtained these results, going to the sector selection screen and exiting with the Exit button will allow you to obtain the reward.
Lobby / Sports mode
- The number of rewards in Lobbies and Daily Races has been increased.
- Fixed an issue where spectating while registered for a race in the Lobby would not allow you to switch to the spectating camera.
- Changed the Nations Cup and Constructors’ Cup to display the championship-specific helmet thumbnail.
- When Gym Mode is set to “Training/Endurance Race”, adjusted finish timing when Course Parameter is set to “Time Limit”.
- Changed camera movements before races start in Daily Races when Start Mode is set to Formation.
Mission
- Added “The Human Comedy” to missions containing hour-long endurance runs. “The Human Comedy” will become playable when the player’s Collector Level is 23. Each Endurance Run can earn up to 1.2 million Cr. per event.
- Race information, such as starting grid, number of laps or time limit, starting method, etc. are now displayed in the quick menu of missions.
- Best records for time-limited events and friend ranking records are now saved and displayed in the format [Classement/Nombre de tours].
- Leaderboards have been reset for some events.
- The existing top records will only display the “ranking”. Once the same or better record has been set, it will be saved in the “Ranking/Number of Laps” format.
- For friendly rankings, if a result of bronze or better is established, it will be saved even if the result is lower than the best record.
Game progress
- Increased the maximum cap of credits earned in-game to 100 million Cr.
- New “invitations” received thereafter will have a time limit of 30 days, instead of 14 days.
Used Cars / Legendary Cars
- The number of cars listed in the range at the same time is now increased.
Cars
- Mazda RX-7 GT-X (FC) ’90: Fixed the position and shape of the roll cage installed in ‘GT Auto’.
- Toyota Sprinter Trueno 1600GT APEX (S.Shigeno Version): Fixed part of rear wheel design.
Livery Editor
- Fixed livery display issues for the following cars: Subaru WRX Gr.B Road Car, Ferrari F430 ’06, Ferrari F8 Tributo ’19.
- If the car you are currently using is affected by this issue, it will be fixed when you go to [GT Auto] -> [Personnalisation de la voiture] -> [Enregistrer le style].
Car physics simulation
- Improved physics when landing from a jump, mainly on dirt tracks.
- Fixed an issue where the vehicle speed value displayed on other players’ speedometers in online races sometimes differed from the actual vehicle speed.
- Fixed an issue where the afterburner would not turn off during certain operations after adjusting the muffler on a ’09 Toyota Prius G and an ’11 Toyota Aqua S.
Car Parameters
- Changed the Anti-Lag System setting from ON/OFF to three settings, OFF/Weak/Strong.
- Fixed an issue where if you open the car settings after selecting a part in the tuning shop but canceling without buying it, the name of the created settings sheet would be erased and the settings would be reset.
Race
- Fixed an issue where time penalties were not issued correctly when short distance slashes were performed or successive slashes were performed.
- Fixed an issue where a penalty was still issued for cutting the white line at Goodwood.
- Adjusted the pit stop starting position for the Daytona International Speedway tri-oval.
Custom Races
- Changed the Balance of Performance (BoP) configuration so that it can be enabled or disabled when the player’s cars belong to the Gr.1, Gr.2, Gr.3, Gr.4 and Gr.B categories.
Rival Cars (AI)
- Fixed an issue where rival cars that changed to rain tires in wet track races after a pit stop had slow acceleration when exiting the pits.
- In road racing, measures have been taken to have some cars start earlier or later on a rolling start due to network issues.
Graphics
- Improved image quality of smoke in race photos.
- Fixed an issue where debris from crashing in cockpit view could get inside the car.
- Fixed graphical drawing of smoke seen through car windows.
Replays
- Until now, the control menu appeared when using any button on the gamepad, but this has been changed so that it now only appears when using the confirm and cancel buttons.
His
- Music is now played in surround sound when the audio output mode is set to “7.1 ch Surround”.
- On PlayStation 4, this playback applies when the connected device is 5.1 or 7.1 compatible and the ‘Audio Output Mode’ in ‘Options’ is set to ‘7.1 Surround’.
- On PlayStation 5, this reading applies when the connected device is 5.1h or 7.1ch compatible and the console’s “HDMI Device Type” is set to ” [*]AV Amplifier”, and “Number of Channels” is set to “5.1 ch” or “7.1 ch”.
- Added options [Balance du volume de la relecture musicale] and [Volume principal de la relecture musicale] sound volume and replay options of music replay.
- Music replay options can now be closed with the undo button.
Settings
- The parameter [Afficher le fantôme de démonstration] in the [Paramètres du fantôme] is now displayed only in Circuit Licenses and Experience.
- Addition of a [Paramètre d’exposition temporaire] quick menu settings. the [Réglage de l’exposition temporaire] allows you to temporarily adjust the screen brightness during races. Exiting the quick menu returns the game to the original exposure setting.
car collection
- Added three new features to move the cursor.
GT-Auto
- Change the brightness of spare bulbs under [GT Auto] > [Personnaliser les voitures] > [Autres pièces] > [Ampoules].
Trophy
- Fixed text for “Wheely Good Fun” trophy to “Purchased 10 sets of wheels from GT AUTO”.
title screen
- Splits the thumbnail image and news headline text so that they are displayed separately.
Steering controllers
- Assignment of functions to additional buttons that become available when fitting replacement wheels, such as the Fanatec Club Sport Formula V2 steering wheel on the Fanatec GT DD Pro*.
- Assignment of the upper right/left paddles of the Fanatec Podium Advanced paddle module to the indicators.
- Left/Right toggle switch assignment for MFD toggle and change functions.
- Assignment of analog stick to head rotation
- Various other issues have been resolved.
