A few months after the announcement of the purchase of Jade Raymond’s company by Sony, the sale has been completed and Haven officially becomes a PlayStation Studios entity.
Last March, Sony announced its intention to buy Haventhe new studio founded by the Canadian producer Jade Raymond. After having helped the company with its productions, the goal was to officially integrate it into the big family and thus take full advantage of the technical, human and marketing infrastructure of SIE.
The agreement has been definitively validated and PlayStation has just made official the acquisition of Haven this Monday. Founded by the former producer of Assassin’s Creed in 2021, the studio has for the moment no project announced but would focus on an exclusive multiplayer IP or even GaaS. Another former member of the Ubisoft franchise has joined the team.
