A tweet posted by Avalanche Software’s community manager revealed that Hogwarts Legacy has additional content reserved for PlayStation players.
While pre-orders for Hogwarts Legacy have opened on the PlayStation Store, among other places, one person noticed something strange: the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game give access to an exclusive quest, which is not the case with the Xbox copies.

If some were theorizing that this was a simple mistake on the part of the publisher, the community manager of the studio Avalanche Software has clarified things and no, it was well planned. So, regardless of your version of the software (old-gen or next-gen), you will be able to unlock a quest exclusive to the Sony machine. At the moment, the content of this quest remains unknown. However, with time, it is quite possible that it will become multiplatform.
The PlayStation exclusive quest comes with any PlayStation version of the game. It is not tied to pre-order. Pre-order on PlayStation will get you the Felix Felicis potion recipe. More details are coming soon.

The bonuses offered by Hogwarts Legacy to PlayStation players don’t stop there, although this time another platform seems to be concerned.
