The loading times of the new Sony console being drastically reduced, Guerrilla Games has voluntarily lengthened them.

the PS5 SSD has clearly improved loading times games, but it may not be for everyone. For Horizon Forbidden West, for example, Guerrilla Games was forced to slow them down.

Indeed, the speed of these prevented players from reading messages displayed in the loading screens and intended to provide practical information.

“In Horizon Zero Dawn, we called it fast travel, but it could take maybe a minute to load. With the PS5 it’s maybe four or five seconds, it loads so fast that players can’t even read the hints.” Mathijs de Jonge, game director

These famous screens have even been blocked and it is necessary to confirm to exitunless you disable this option in the settings.

Although we can dispense with said advice in Horizon Forbidden West, it is not the only title to have been restrained on this level, Ghost of Tsushima for example underwent the same treatment with the same objective, and yet it was with the PS4 HDD.
